Wooooo! More great news for Disco, we have the film’s fourth official selection in the US, it will play in competition as part of the World Shorts Category at this year’s Little Rock Film Festival. Named as one of the top 25 film festivals in the world by MovieMaker Magazine, the festival takes place in Little Rock, Arkansas from the 1st to the 5th of June and has a brilliant line up, many of which are films that played really well at Sundance and Nashville.
In the feature category it’s great to see Ron Eyal’s film ‘Stranger Things’ make the cut, which was co-directed with his wife Eleanor Burk. I had the pleasure of meeting Ron in Nashville so I was really happy to see that on the list. ‘Jess + Moss’ was also selected, another of my highlights from the NFF.
This selection is particularly special for me as my previous film ‘Mixtape’ played at Little Rock last year and it means a lot to be able to return with ‘Disco’, especially as it’s a follow up of sorts. So, with that in mind, I’d just like to thank the shorts programmers and everyone at Little Rock for supporting the film.
ADIOS FOR NOW
